Conventionally and currently, the best application for the planetary Mixer has been in the efficient mixing of a Solid-Liquid system which forms a viscous mass of low to medium viscosity. The planetary mixing mode yields a highly homogeneous product. Often, it is desired to promote better dipersion/homogenisation in quick time, apart from a good mix. To achieve this, the mixer is incorporated with an additional mixing element. These mixers operate on a batch mode.
